Appearance
How Loca looks is yours to set, under Appearance in Settings. The group gathers everything visual in one place: theme, colors, text size, fonts, and the window’s size and placement. These are all Client settings, so they shape this app and travel with it rather than with the Core, as The Settings Panel explains.
Theme and color
Choose a light or dark theme, or let Loca follow your system so it shifts with the rest of your machine. Beyond the theme, you can set the base and accent colors directly, which is what tints the surfaces and highlights throughout the app.
Color is set with a field like this one, the same control the app uses for every color setting, so picking an accent here works the way picking any color does elsewhere in Settings.
The chat bubbles
The conversation is where you spend your time, so its bubbles have their own set of controls. You can tune the bubble colors, the corner rounding, and the shadow and blur, so the chat reads the way you like rather than one fixed style. Small as they are, these add up to how the app feels in daily use.
Because every appearance setting is a Client setting, none of this touches the Core. Pair this Client with a different Core and your look comes along unchanged; change the look and no Core is affected.
